How do I search for Products?
1. Keyword Search
The Keyword Search is the fastest way to find information on products or suppliers. The search engine returns Product Names, Products Categories and Supplier Names.

When you search for computers the search engine will check for all products related to computers. It will also provide you with a list of categories that contain the search string.

i.e. computer accessories, computer memory cards, laptop computers

You can also refine your search by using a Boolean (and/or) search to search for products that consists of two or more words,

i.e. to search for computer screens use the search term computer AND screen

2. Category Search (Product Vertical Search)
You can also search through the different product categories on AsianProducts. Currently we have 15 different product verticals with more than 8'000 product categories.

3. Advanced Search
By using the Advanced Search you will be able to locate more specific information.

You can choose which fields to use to define and focus your search. Apart from entering keywords you can add a time filter, search by specific product category or search from specific countries.

Keyword Tips
• Search using more different keywords
• Use specific keywords, e.g. 'stationery' is too vague. Rather use 'pen' or 'pencil'
• Do a Boolean search, e.g. 'ball and pen'
• Use keywords that will appear in the product description

How can I make sure I always find the latest products?
Sign up for AsianProducts Product Alerts to stay updated about the latest and newest products that are available from suppliers. These trade alerts contain all the information about the new products and their manufacturers.

Youˇ¦ll only receive alerts from suppliers that are promoting products that are related to the product categories you are interested in. You can sign up to receive the product alerts by logging into your account and activate the product alerts. To unsubscribe, simply log into your account and tick the box next to Unsubscribe from receiving product alert email newsletters in the Product Alert Management section under Want to buy in your account.

The Product Alerts contain pictures and details on new products as well as the manufacturer. You can directly inquire from the e-mail by clicking on the picture. You will be able to send a message to supplier and he will contact you with further details.

What can I do if I cannot find the exact product I need?

Many of the suppliers that are using AsianProducts to advertise their products can manufacture products to your specific needs. These products will not be listed on our database and you might find it difficult to locate the exact product that you are looking for.

AsianProducts have made available a valuable service called Sourcing Request. Here you can post your product needs and suppliers will be able to respond to you immediately.

To make it easier for suppliers to assist you, you can detail the exact product specifications, attach product images and specify any particular requirements you have such as target price and quality certifications. Suppliers who can fulfill your requirements will contact you directly.

You can find the sourcing request service on the AsianProducts homepage.. This service is free to buyers and can be used whenever you are unable to find products via the AsianProducts product search facility.
