What is a Product Alert?
When you registered with AsianProducts as a Buyer you can sign up to receive free product alerts. When Suppliers have new products available, they upload this information into our database. Depending on the product category, you will be notified of these new products when they are uploaded.
AsianProducts Product Alerts are sent out daily to your e-mail inbox and you will only receive Alerts in the specific product categories that you are interested in.
How do I sign up for Product Alerts?
To receive Product Alerts you have to sign up with AsianProducts as a Buyer. Once you have registered, log into your account and go to My Account to subscribe to Product Alerts. Click on Product Alert Manager under the Want to Buy section.
Click on the Add New icon to choose your product categories. After selecting your product categories, click on Add Selected Category to add the new categories. You will now receive Product Alerts in that category once new products are posted with AsianProducts.
You can add as many categories as you want, but choose carefully, because the more categories you choose, the more e-mail you will receive.
To remove product categories, simply click on the trash bin icon and confirm to delete the product category.
How do I unsubscribe from Product Alerts?
To unsubscribe from receiving Trade Alerts, please log into your account and go to My Account. Click on the Product Alert Manager option under Want to Buy section.
Tick the box next to Unsubscribe from receiving product alert email newsletters to unsubscribe from receiving Product Alerts.
To receive Product Alerts in the future again, un-tick this option to resume receiving Product Alerts in your e-mail inbox.
Why don't I receive Product Alerts?
If you have registered with AsianProducts and indicted that you want receive Products Alerts you should receive them.
In case you are not receiving any Product Alerts please use this checklist to find the problem.
Your E-Mail address and In-Box
1. Have you entered the correct e-mail address?
Change or update your correct e-mail address
2. Is there sufficient space in your inbox to receive Product Alerts?
Delete unwanted e-mail to make space for new e-mail or get a bigger e-mail account inbox
3. Is your anti-spam engine classifying AsianProducts e-mail as spam e-mail?
Change the settings in your anti-spam software/anti-virus software to indicate that e-mail from AsianProducts is not spam. Contact your software vendor for more information.
4. Is your e-mail server working properly?
Check if your server is working. Contact your ISP or network administrator for further assistance.
Your Product Categories
1. Have you chosen any product categories?
Choose product categories in the Product Alert Manager.
2. Have you selected more than one product category?
Select at least 3 different product categories in the Product Alert Manager.
3. Are there any products or suppliers listed in the product categories you have chosen?
Make sure that when you select a product category that the category contains suppliers and products. The number of products is displayed in brackets behind each product category.
In the categories that have few products and suppliers listed it will be unlikely that suppliers will upload new products daily. It¡¦s better to choose more categories that are related to your product category.
4. Have you selected the "Unsubscribe from receiving Product Alerts box"?
If you have selected this option, please un-tick the box next to "Unsubscribing from receiving product alert e-mail" to receive Product Alerts.
