How do I send a Product Inquiry to suppliers?
To send a product inquiry to suppliers you need to register with AsianProducts. Once you have registered, log into your account and start searching for the products you are looking for.
Once you have found suitable products or suppliers you can send inquiries from the results page or from a supplierˇ¦s online showroom.
1. Sending an inquiry from the results page
You can select individual or multiple products from the results page and send inquires to suppliers. Either way there are several options available to buyers when sending inquires:
- You can send one inquiry to one supplier
- You can send one inquiry to several suppliers
- You can send several inquiries to several suppliers
Select the products you wish to inquire about and press the inquire now button to send an inquiry directly to the supplier. Alternatively select products and add it to your inquiry basket by clicking on the add to basket button. You can now continue to search for other products and send an inquiry to all the suppliers that you have added to your inquiry basket at a later stage.
Whichever option you decide, once you are ready, click the 'inquire now' button.
If you have selected more than one product/supplier you will be given the option to remove items before sending the inquiry.
Type your message and press 'send' to email your inquiry to your chosen supplier/suppliers.
2. Sending an inquiry from a Supplier's Online Showroom
Once you have located a suitable supplier you can send an inquiry directly to him from his online showroom by clicking on the Contact Now button on the bottom of his online showroom.
How do I use my inquiry basket?
- Select the products you wish to inquire about by checking the box so that a tick appears.
- When you are ready, press the 'inquire now' button.
- You can then check the products you are about to inquire about and remove items if necessary.
- Press 'send inquiry' to fill out the inquiry form.
- Press the 'next' button to send your inquiry to your chosen supplier/suppliers.
- Your inquiry will be sent directly via the AsianProducts website.
All replies will be sent to the email address you registered with.
If you would like a copy of this inquiry sent to your or anyone else's email address, please use the CC or BCC function.
I have sent an inquiry to a supplier, but have not yet had a reply. What can I do?
Some suppliers may not reply to inquires they cannot fulfill. While we encourage suppliers to respond to all inquires they receive, some do not. If you are still waiting to hear from your supplier after 1 week, we suggest you re-send the inquiry, stating you are awaiting his soonest response.
If you are concerned about possible internet/server/email problems, we suggest faxing a copy of your inquiry to the supplier.
If you have contacted a Gold Member supplier twice, and are still waiting to hear from them after a week, email us and we will contact the supplier on your behalf. Please attach your most recent inquiry report with your email.
When sending your inquiry please provide as much information as possible about your inquiry so the supplier is clear about what you require.
If you don't receive replies from suppliers it might be possible that your e-mail address is incorrect. Please check that you have entered the correct e-mail address in your personal details. You might have changed your email provider recently and forgot to update your records.
