Proxy bidding is an automatic bidding system that enables you to make a higher bid every time someone else has raised the bidding price. Without logging into your account to monitor your bid, the system will automatically increase your bid every time a bidder has made a bid against you.

You enter the maximum amount you would like to bid, and the system enters your bid at the current bid. As bidders make higher biddings, the system will make counter bids in your favor until your maximum bid has been reached.

An e-mail notification will be sent to inform you about that your maximum bid has been reached. You can then decide whether or not to make additional bids.
