2 PET Films Backed Mica Tape (equivalent to Samicafilm@F2-90, CONDUCTOFOLR 2371, 2159; KM-805A-ST) is a triplex combined flexible material constructed of mica paper bonded to PET Films on both sides with a modified epoxy resin. The thicker PET film surface of type LR-PMP 541A is coated with a hot melt adhesive.
Application:
PET Film Backed on Both Sides Mica Tape is rated Class F (155J) by IEEE standards, acceptable for the conductor insulation of electromagnetic wires for windings of low and high voltage machines.
