Properties:
The product takes on an appearance of white crystallized powder,without odor and smell. The melting point ranges from 76.0 to 79.0 degree centigrade.Soluble in benzene, acetone and chloroform, sparingly soluble in alcohol, insoluble in water .Good extraction -resistance in hot water and low volatility.
Applications:
The product is a kind of high effecitive asymmetric phenolic antioxidant.It has been adopted by FDA as additives in food packing material.It involves high efficient antioxidant,low volatility,resistance to oxidation coloring,significant synergistic effect with assistant antioxidant and light stabilizers.It can be widely used for HIPS,PA,POM,MBS,ABS resin and so on.It is also serves as chain stopper in PVC polymerization.When used for HIPS and PVC,it can be added into monomers before polymerization. The amount to be used may be 0.02%-0.5%.
