The Jake Cot Bed crib has three mattress base positions and is suitable from birth. The side rail has av drop side mechanism which allows mummy to access the baby with ease.

When in use as a junior bed, the sides come off and and one of the ends detaches two two parts allowing the crib to be converted into a junior bed.
