The Fargo HDP600 CR100 full-color ID card printer offers high-security ID card printing for access and identification cards that meets federal standards for government and corporate applications. This printer deters counterfeiting with tamper-evident, Fargo trademark HDP (high definition printing) film. By printing the image onto the underside of the film, then using heat pressure to bond the film to the card, it is virtually impossible for a counterfeiter to peel the film off and alter the card without destroying the image. Since the printhead never touches the card itself, this process lends a smooth appearance to Fargo HDP600 ID cards.

This process also facilitates flawless, edge-to-edge printing, as the printhead does not touch the card itself, which can sometimes cause printhead damage in traditional dye sublimation printing. You may order your HDP film with standard or custom holographic images for extra insurance against would-be counterfeiters. Printing and encoding takes place in one pass, and with user-friendly software and simple instructions on its LCD screen, the Fargo HDP600 offers sleek, secure access card printing with minimal fuss.
