BETA PRO 61G is an optical node designed to meet the requirements of modern HFC networks. Adjustment of the optical node has been simplifi ed due to its microprocessor control unit that enables uninterruptible adjustment (e.g. AGC, slope, gain), what is extremely important especially for modern services e.g. VoIP, VoD. This solution allows to reduce costs of network maintenance, eliminate the necessity of plug-in modules stock and simplify installation and adjustment of the device. BETA PRO 61G may be equipped with transponder module, which enables remote monitoring and control of particular node parameters. It enables to monitoring and manage three-state ingress switch, reverse transmitter redundancy or segmentation, con fi guration of AGC settings, slope and level adjustment. Additionally its possible to monitor input/output optical power of the receiver/transmitter, supervise AC and DC voltages, control external contacts and inside temperature, tamper. The AGC circuit compensates changes in the optical power providing stable RF output level regardless of input signal fl uctuations. Modern forward path receiver allows to work with low optical input power is modern FTTC/FTTB architecture. BETA PRO 61G may be equipped with two return path transmitters, which allow to design network architecture with segmentation or redundancy. Optical transmitters are available in CWDM technology, which enable more effective use of fi ber architecture. Integrated LED display helps in installation and network diagnostic showing optical input power level eliminating the need for additional measuring equipment for technical stuff. Integrated UPS and external batteries allows for constant work of device in case of temporary lack of power supply.
