The unique design of safety "Break Point" assures the cutter blade can never be used as a weapon. The model 8500-1 can be used to double lock a disposable cuff by quickly trimming off any excess material away from the locking head. The model can also be used to cut clothing or a vehicle seat belt in an emergency.
