Functions and Indications: clear heat and dry dampness, drain fire, detoxicate. Used mainly in the treatment of damp-heat diarrhea, vomiting, dysentery, jaundice, dizziness, heart fire hyperactivity, disquieted heart spirit, agrypnia, hot eyes, dentalgia, internal heat dispersion-thirst, eczema and ear pus.
