The Thuraya Monitoring System is designed to monitor both up-link and down link communications from the mobile handset. The system can be configured to receive from 1 - 16 Duplex Channel in a spot beam or the system can receive upto 4 full spot beam traffic.
The portable system provides following details during the target interception-
Incoming and outgoing MES call numbers.
Type of encryption.
IMSI, TMSI, IMEI.
Type of MES (MES power class).
GPS time stamp.
Paging response.
Alerting response.
Type of terminal (fixed or mobile).
MCC and MNC.
Raw data before decryption.
Frequencies in use in the spot beam and in adjacent spot beams.
Call date and time.
Start time and duration of the incoming and outgoing calls.
Network channel and slot number.
Communication type (voice\fax\data).
Further information please feel free to contact us. | | | | Product Specifications | The following information is available from a C-band only call intercept:
Establishment cause - Whether the MES is setting up a call, updating its location, verifying its position or responding to an incoming call.
Subset of IMSI digits - These are part of the permanently fixed MES identity and the subset can sometimes be used to discriminate between terminals.
MES power class - Indicating the type of MES.
GPS position ( Latitude and Longitude ) .
GPS timestamp - Indicates how long since the measurement of the last reported GPS position.
Current position indicator - Shows whether the reported GPS position is current or old.
Telephone number being called by the MES.( Only available for MES originated calls. )
L-band monitoring provides information on spot beams and the channels that are used for call establishment.
There are a number of broadcast channels that are only available on the L-band downlink. One of these (BCCH) carries the following information:
Current satellite position.
Spot beam identifier.
Location of spot beam centre.
Location of adjacent spot beams.
Adjacent spot beam frequencies.
All BCCH channel frequencies in use.
Access/timing information.
