Making of AISI 4145H alloy steel, this is a kind of dill collar which add three right out of spiral groove on the outer circle of ordinary drill collar when processing. The main effect is to reduce the drill collar wall in the area of contact and friction when working, maintain uniformity with the mud through spiral mobile, keep the balance of drill string and prevent pressure sticking. The single weight of spiral dill collar is 4% lighter than the same specification of ordinary dill collar , the two ends of the thread and the general shape are the same with drill collar. According to the form of spiral it is divided into Type I and Type II.
