By adding suitable amount of tenacity increase materials to the ceramic or silicon carbide, and adopting isostatic press molding, then after the high-temperature firing, the ceramic plunger is finally finished.
Ceramic plunger is now used with many top grade high-pressure plunger pump at home and abroad. It has the outstanding merits of high anti-wear ability, high hardness, high-tenacity, high anti-corrosion and low coefficient of thermal expansion. Its working life is as five to six times long as the metal plunger, and is sure to be an ideal substitute for the metal plunger.
