Shyh Ru Metals Inc., Ltd. was founded in 1968. Since that time, it has primarily focused on producing high quality, easy-to-use cash boxes and key boxes for customers in Taiwan.

At a time when most portable cash boxes in Taiwan were Japanese imports, General Manager Tai-ho Chang followed his intuition and moved into the market. Now, after more than 30 years of hard work and development, Shyh Ru has become a supplier for a wide variety of major financial institutions.

In 1980, Shyh Ru officially entered the international market. Driven by a desire to diversify, products were developed to suit the individual needs of different, national markets around the world. Shyh Ru now sells to over 30 nations and has established a place for itself in the international, cash box market.

In 1999, Shyh Ru received ISO-9002 product quality certification and ISO-14001 environmental management certification. These certifications were an affirmation to more than 30 years of company-wide hard work, driven by the principles of "quality first, and the customer above all." It also gave a mandate and responsibility to the company to continue to press ahead in its commitment to producing quality, affordable products. Stressing R&D and never relenting in commitment to quality, Shyh Ru will continue to expand its presence in the international market.
