Company Overview

E&V International Ltd was established in 1973 and focuses on sourcing, managing production and delivering, decorative products and other building materials either through our own factories or through trusted suppliers across Asia. We have offices throughout Asia and are able to bulk and container ship worldwide.

In the 1980s E&V developed the market for MDFs, particleboard and other manufactured panels and by the end of the 1980s we were the largest importer of MDF and particleboards into the China market.

In the 1990s E&V diversified into other wood based products, such as logs and veneers, again mainly importing into China to service the then rapidly growing furniture industry, but also to trade these products throughout Asia.

From 2000 we have focused more on wood based products which are at the cutting edge in terms of newly develop products reflecting the start of trends in wood production. The environmental aspect of these products is now of prime concern when evaluating new products. We always stand by the quality of our products and carry out full inspections prior to shipping.

Environmental Credentials

Since the 1980s we made a decision to stop dealing in wood products which could be deemed demonstrably to be from sources which were harmful to the environment. These included wood products from tropical hardwood sources and from certain countries known to have a poor record in policing their logging industry. We are aiming to be FSC accredited by the end of 2008.

Wood Products

----Hardwood and Softwood logs and lumber
(E.g. Eucalyptus, White Oak, Okoume, Teak, Spruce, Gmelina and Pine)

----Engineered oak flooring.
High quality French White Oak engineered flooring from Vietnam. Up to 240mm wide with lengths up to

2.4 meters. The plywood backer is scarf jointed WBP and the final product complies with quality and Health & Safety requirements of the European Community.

----MDF SEO EO CARB
With the concern for the health hazard of excessive formaldehyde we are now offering a range of MDF
and Particleboard products which comply with the increasingly stringent requirement for these emissions.

E0 (F3*) and SEO (F4*) JIS Compliant MDF
E1 ÿ EU compliant
CARB ÿ California MDF compliant MDF (to take effect form late 2008)


----Plywood
The increasing need for good quality plywood is more and more in the minds of importers and end-users. We deal with a limited number of approved manufacturers for various ranges of plywood (Birch, Poplar, Fancy). This ensures both quality and also timely shipment.
Our range of plywood as follows:

-Full Birch Furniture WBP E1 plywood
-Hardwood Flooring Plywood. WBP E1 glue
-Construction plywood. Plain faced and with dynea-phenolic film face

----Decking

We are introducing a new range of bamboo based exterior decking products:
Woven compressed decking. This is a new development in bamboo technology. The result is a unique appearance high density decking product. Currently being sold to
Europe and North America this product promises to take a large share of the traditional ipe and camaru decking markets.

Vertical Laminated decking. Also called Bamboo Teak decking due to its similarity in appearance to teak. It is a hard wearing decking product available in extremely long lengths up to 5 metres and in widths up to 170mm. Medium weight and easy to install for both the professional and amateur.

Examples of other wood products we produce include melamine faced products, furniture and furniture components, curtain rods and dowels, veneers and veneer overlaid panels.

Natural Stone Products

Bespoke marble and granite items, including natural and man-made marble fireplaces, hearths and back panels, custom carvings, countertops, architectural cladding, tiles, paving, mausolea and other memorial work.

MgO Construction Board

MgO construction board is a multi-purpose, high performance product which is suitable for a wide range of applications, for environments requiring a fire rating as well as for more general building board usages.
Suitable for drywall, linings, partitions, ceilings, fire doors, fixed and floating floors, and external cladding, it offers a number of unique advantages - for both cost and performance - over the fire rated and other boards currently on the market.


Fibrous Plaster Products

With production taking place under the supervision of experienced fibrous plasterers within our ISO9001:2000 compliant factory, we manufacture a range of high quality glass reinforced gypsum (GRG) cornices, ceiling roses, columns, corbels, fireplaces and other decorative mouldings as well as bespoke project work to customer specifications.
