In early 1975, Der Yaw Mould Co., Ltd. was founded by Mr. Yang Heng Te and Mr. Wu Lien Sheng, who have involved in plastic and moulding business for more than ten years as an important role in supplying precision plastic moulding for local automobile industry. Along with great achievements in the core business, they decided to expand to houseware market, resulting in the establishment of Kuo Yu Plastic Ent. Co., Ltd. in year 1978.
Kuo Yu is operating very flexible in its nature. At the beginning of the business, Kuo Yu took OEM projects by cooperation with local trading agents. After such experience accumulated at mid-80's, Kuo Yu received its first OEM project dealing directly with foreign clients. In average, there are about 10 to 15 successful projects being developed with foreign clients and it contributed nearly 40 percent of revenue during the past three years.
