They can be used with many insulating materials including Mylar, paper and metalised foils.
Tapeformers can be used to insulate all manner of cables including LAN, telephone, communication, automotive, power and fibre optic cable; they can run at line speeds of up to 200 metres / min, and are manufactured to individual specifications.

The size of a tapeformer varies proportionally with the size of cable core being shielded. Our standard models cater for cable cores from 5mm to 210mm. However, larger or smaller diameter cables can be tailored for as well. Just by sending us a sample of the cable to be shielded we can determine how to make the appropriate adjustments.
Other alterations to standard models such as bracket movements can also be made to suit the individual machines you are using so cable shielding is made easier for you.
