Established in 1987, TATWAH Smartech Co., Ltd. has emerged from former TATWAH electronic factory & TATWAH Electronic Co., Ltd. We specialise in manufacturing contact-less smart cards and focus on developing high technology and intelligent products. We are the only specified producer that laminates the chip cards for EM Microelectronic Marin in the Asia-Pacific region.
Major product lines include contact-less smart cards, smart tags, smart labels and readers. We have offset printing facilities and HP-2000 for card personalization, and can produce cards with ink jet code, and laser engraving. We also design and make to order special sized cards according to the customer''s requests.
The company owns several patents in the areas of contact-less identification, e. g. ISO9001: 2000. In 2004, TATWAH and TI (Texas Instrument USA) have agreed to closely collaborate in the field of RFID transponders, TI supply with wafers to TATWAH.
