1.INTRODUCTION
1.1 Description of factory and product
Vega Technologies Inc. is a company specialized in the development & production of electronic medical devices. Since our establishment in March 1997, we have spent over 7 months to launch our first product ?the portable ultrasonic nebulizer. Our development group, consists of several experienced engineer from Taiwan & Japan, is a very strong team in the medical products field. Our excellent sales in this less than one year period has proved that our product design & quality are well satisfied.
Our management people of manufacturing & marketing departments are also experienced and well trained with the ISO requirement. Since our setup of the factory, we have started all the quality system required in each process although the management did not decide to apply for ISO 9000 certification in the beginning.
Based on our quality policy ?excellence, innovation & customer? satisfaction, we are constantly improving our quality system for all process involved in order to provide our customers with better and better products.
In this technical file include NB Series (Ultrasonic Nebulizers) and CN Series (Compressor Nebulizers). The NB series product utilizes ultrasonic transducer to atomize the medication, which is prescribed by doctor or physician, to very small particles (1-10 micrometers) and then inhaled by patient for respiratory therapy. The CN series product used compressor to create a stream of air that travels through clear tube to the nebulizer. When air enters the nebulizer, it will convert the prescribed medication into aerosol mist for easy inhalation.


1.2 Brief history & identification for use
The nebulizer demand is getting more and more as a result of the increasing numbers of patients with asthma, COPD and other respiratory ailments, owing to the environment & air pollution problems, it may be necessary to perform respiratory therapy at anytime and anywhere the patient needs it. The ultrasonic based design, unlike other traditional compressor or piston types nebulizers, results in a device that is small, lightweight and portable. The NB-02 ultrasonic nebulizer is intended for single patient use at home.
We have also developed several new versions of ultrasonic nebulizers, which also utilize the new modified circuit and are similar in construction to the original NB-02. The main changes include outlook shape, position of motor/fan for the airflow and capacity of medication cup etc.
