On January 26, 1988 the business was registered as MMP Packaging Group Co., Ltd. and began to import food wrapping film from Riken Vinyl Industries Co., Ltd. in Japan for local distribution under the brand name of M WRAP it had an initial staff of 20 persons.

In 1989 the Board of investment granted MMP Packaging Group Co., Ltd. promotional privileges to facilitate the manufacturing of the group. The company's food wrapping film manufacturing machine with an annual production capacity of 360 tons was installed at its first factory in Bang Phlee industrial Estate in Samutprakarn province, and applied the production technology developed by Riken vinyl Industries Co., Ltd.

In 1993 the second M WRAP food wrapping film manufacturing machine was installed with a production capacity of 470 tons per year.

In 1995 the third M WRAP food wrapping film manufacturing machine with capacity of 1200 tons per year was installed at the companya??s new factory in Pak Chong, Nakhon Ratchasima. At the same time MMP Packaging Group won promotional privileges from BOI and moved all of its M WRAP food wrapping film production base from Bang Phlee Industrial Estate to Pak Chong. The company then had 150 workers.

In 1996 the companya??s growth was shown by further support from BOI as M-STRETCH pallet wrapping film with a capacity of 10,000 tons a year was installed at the Pak Chong factory.

In 1997, MMP Packaging Group had won further support from BOI to install the fourth M WRAP manufacturing machine with the capacity of 2,400 tons per year.

In 2004, MMP exported further, as we installed the second machine for M-Stretch film with the other production capacity of 14,000 tons a year. Moreover, production capacity for M Wrap was also additionally increased 2,400 tons a year with the installation of the fifth machine for M Wrap.

MMP Packaging Group is presently exporting both M-Stretch Pallet Wrap and M Wrap food wrapping film to over 30 countries around the world.
