Stitch-bond non-woven fabric, manufactured through the Maliwatt machine of Karl Mayer. Stitch-bond non-woven fabric is that with stitches in the longitude direction to hold the web in place. Since other types of non-woven are usually needle-punched, thermal-bond or chemical-bond, even though it holds the web in place, it sacrifices the softness characteristic. Stitch-bond non-woven maintains the same softness as the web from the beginning.

The layer or web of fibers is stitched over to form fabric, therefore, it spreads out more evenly than other non-woven. In the later stages, resin can be added to finalize the operation and adjust the softness. Other additives can be added during this stage as well, such as flame-retardant, water-repellent...etc. Stitch-bond non-woven fabric has higher degree of freedoms to be modified than other types.
Stitch-bond non-woven fabric produced by our company all pass through the inspection of SGS, an accredited inspection agency in Taiwan. The products are guaranteed to be free of heavy metal (cadmium, lead and mercury), formaldehyde, hexavalent chromium or pentachlorophenol.
Currently, the largest size our company can produce is 100 inches (254cm). The typical production thickness ranges from 0.4mm~1.2mm, with 14, 18 or 22 gauge as the specifications. The raw materials are 100% polyester or recycled polyester manufactured by top Taiwan synthetic fiber manufactures. Its tear strength, tensile strength, abrasion, color and web evenness are all on par with other major planets around the world.
