Asian Products--Import Export Directory for Importers, manufacturers, exporters,suppliers

		1.	To register with AsianProducts, click the " join now " link located on the top right hand side of the AsianProducts home page

		2.	You will need to choose a Login ID and set up your Password . You can check if the log in name you want to use has already been taken. If it has, you will have to choose another. You are required to fill in all the mandatory fields marked with a " * " . The other fields are optional, however the more information you provide, the more information potential customers will know about you. Depending on whether you want to buy or sell, you must register as a " Buyer ", " Supplier " or as a " Buyer and Supplier ".

		3.	Once you have submitted your personal information, an email will be sent to you personal email account. For security purposes, your account will not be opened until you have activated this link and signed in.

		4.	Account activation email: An account activation email will be sent usually within minutes of registering with AsianProducts

			If you do not receive your account activation email after a day or so, there are several things you can do to try and find out why. You should check that your inbox is not full, and you are not experiencing any internet connection problems. To alert us to any problems concerning your account activation email, or if you think the email address you have given may be incorrect please contact us.

		To log in to use the AsianProducts website click the " Sign In " link, located on the top right hand side of the AsianProducts home page. You will need your Login ID and Password to sign in.

Step 1.

Click the " Sign in " or " My account " link at the top right hand sie of the AsianProducsts home page.
To access your account you will need your Login ID and Password

Step 2.

Go to " My products categories" link on your " Want to sell" navigator bar,
and make sure the category of this new product is included here

Step 3.

Go to the " add new products " link on your " want to sell " navigator bar.

Step 4.

To add a new product you will need to:

* Enter the product name,
* Select the product category, If you can't find suitable category.
You can select a new one from

immediately.
* Provide some information about the product

Step 5.

When attaching a product image, please make sure you only use high quality images. We require three different images; 572 x 432 pixels, 240 x 180 pixels and 86 x 65 pixels

1.My product categories

Specifying the categories for the products you manufacture ensures you receive relevant buyer sourcing requests , and that your company and products are found when buyers search the AsianProducts website.
To add or change your product categories, please click the " My product categories " link on your

" want to sell " navigator bar, then select the " add new categories " button

Deleting a product category
Please note: you must remove all products within a category before you can delete it.

Please remember you can only delete products from your offline product storage.

2.Online products showroom

Depending on the level of membership you choose, you can showcase an unlimited number of product pictures in your personal online showroom.

3.Offline products showroom

Additionally, you can store product images and product specifications in your offline product storage. This works in exactly the same way as your online showroom, but products in here can only be viewed by yourself; they are hidden from public view.

4.My products showroom

You can view all your products on the AsianProducts website all together, by viewing both online and offline, or you can view your online or offline products separately.

	1.	The search tool bar is on every page of the website, and you can use it at any time. Enter your keyword and select either " product ", " supplier " or " buyer request ".

2.		Alternatively you can use the AsianProducts " Sourcing request " tree to drill down to the category you are looking for.

3.		You can use the advanced search facility to search for a product within a category and/or from a specific location. On the AsianProducts website you can search for a product, a supplier or for a buyer sourcing request.

			To submit your quotaiton to buyer sourcing request, click into every single sourcing request. Please write down all your product detail and upload the photo, after you click the " Submit " your quotation will send to the buyer directly.

Buyer sourcing requests are requests for specific products posted by buyers. They are a golden selling opportunity ! The categories you select determine the sourcing requests you receive. You can view sourcing requests you have received by going to " my buyer sourcing requests " on your " want to sell " navigator bar.

To add or change your product categories, please click the " add new categories " button on

your " want to sell " navigator bar. To delete your product categories, please click

Click the icon

to modify and re post a buyer sourcing request.

To protect members' security, and to avoid members receiving spam or viruses, email addresses are not displayed on the AsianProducts website.
There are several ways members can be contacted via the AsianProducts website:
* sending a product inquiry
* posting a sourcing request
* responding to a buyer sourcing request

Step 1.

To view, send new or edit an existing sourcing request, go to " my sourcing requests " under " want to buy " on your navigator bar.

To send a new sourcing request, select the " post a new request " option from the tool bar.

Step 1.Select the product


			Once you have found an item you wish to inquire about, select it and either add it into your inquiry basket by clicking on the " add to basket " icon and continue searching or click " inquire now " to compose a message and send your inquiry directly.

Step 2.Add it to your inquiry basket


			One you have added an item into your inquiry basket a blue shopping basket icon appears. Adding items into your inquiry basket enables you to contact various suppliers (a maximum of ten each time) either individually or using the same message. You can always see how many products you have in your inquiry basket by looking at the " Inquiry basket " icon at the very top right hand side of every web page.

Step 3.Send your inquiry


			Click into " Inquiry Basket " from step 2, you can find all products that you had selected below. Clicking the " Send inquiry " button will automatically send your sourcing request directly to your chosen suppliers.

Product alerts are daily email newsletters sent directly to your inbox detailing new products which have been added to the AsianProducts website. Product alerts are free, invaluable, targeted assistance with your sourcing. You decide the products categories you receive alerts about, and the categories can be amended/deleted/added to at any time. To update your product alert criteria, or to unsubscribe from receiving product alerts, go to the " product alert management " function on the " want to buy " navigator bar.

To stop receiving product alerts emails from AsianProducts, select the " unsubscribe from receiving product alert email newsletters " within your product alert management page.

			If you cannot find the product you require you can contact suppliers directly with your specific requirements by posting a sourcing request.Sourcing requests are sent directly to suppliers who manufacture the products you are looking for.You can detail the exact product specifications, attach product images and specify any particular requirements you have such as target price and quality certifications. Suppliers who can fulfill your requirements will contact you directly.

			If you have forgotten your password, go to the " Log in " page on the AsianProducts website. Simply enter your email address and click send. Your password will be sent to your personal email account. For security purposes we suggest you change your password once you have logged into the AsianProducts website.

			You can change your password by going to the " my account " tab (last tab on the top right hand side of every page) and clicking on the " change my password " link on the " my account " navigation bar on the left.

When you find useful information on the AsianProducts website, use the " My Favorites " function to store links to pages you regularly use.

You can organize your favorites and customize links according to your personal requirements.

How do I add an item to " My Favorites " ?

The " Add to My Favorites" icon can be found next to products and company profile pages of Gold and VIP members; simply click the " add to my favorite" icon to add pages to your favorite list. There is no limit to the number of links you add to your favorites.

When the " My Favorites" bookmark appears it means the information has been added to your favorite list. Click into the " My Favorites bookmark " to view all the items stored in your personal favorite area.

Rank your favorites according to their relevance to you.
