F16 MFG CO., LTD., a security lock manufacturing and design specialist, recently introduced a new locking mechanism. The 12-pincylinder system is a revolutionary design, which provides complete locking protection for homes and business. This innovated mechanism is a modular variation of the pin-and-tumbler design.

F16 new 12-pincylinder system differs from most conventional locks that operate with a series of pins pairing up in a single row. While this highly secure mechanism uses a 12-pincylinder system with two rows, each row with of a series of six anti-drilling pins of varying length and double grooves for a better anti-picking system. This locking mechanism only opens with the right key, which displaces the anti-drilling plug and forces both forged-alloy U-shaped springs to disengage from the inner shell. Once the key is inside the cylinder, it has to match the set of double grooved pins with unique false and correct slots. The set of the 12 anti-picking double grooved pins only guides the key with the corresponding combination to unlock the twoanti-drillingrows of pins, making it impossible for skeleton keys to unlock this system.

Additionally, this patented 12-pincylinder system offers more than a million different combinations, and it was designed to be used with a large number of locks, such as profile cylinders, mortise cylinders, rim/deadbolt cylinders, inner cylinders, handle locks, cam locks, switch locks, cabinet locks, safe locks and padlocks.
